May 2026 Release Features
Control which channels are eligible for group blocks
Give chains more control over distribution. Chain administrators can now define exactly which channels are eligible when assigning group blocks—helping prevent errors and ensure the right inventory is available in the right places.
More connected company profiles
We’ve enhanced Company Profile pages for chains and hotels to make navigation and management more intuitive:
- Easier access to more related tasks—all in one place
- Direct links to Direct Bill and Rates Assigned
- Advanced search with full functionality
- Remembers the last level you used (Hotel or Chain)
Bank Transfer now supported as a payment method
More flexibility in how reservations are guaranteed and tracked. Bank transfer is now supported in the SynXis CRS as a dedicated payment and guarantee method for eligible reservations.
This enhancement allows hotels and chains to clearly identify reservations guaranteed via bank transfer, improving payment visibility and reconciliation for OTA bookings that remit funds offline. Bank Transfer is treated as an offline payment method and does not involve payment processing within SynXis.
Building on Booking Engine
Our teams are continuing to add functionality to the next evolution of Aven Hospitality Booking Engine. The May release includes:
- Room Upsell: Present upsell offers after the booking is completed to drive incremental revenue
- Room Category View: Give travelers clearer choice and easier comparison
- Side Panel View: More flexibility to offer a booking flow tailored to your property

March 2026 Release Features
Time is money
Save time with mass update assignments on the User Maintenance page in SynXis CRS Control Center. This enables hotels to update large volumes of user data, including password reset, status (active/inactive), and expiration date, in one simple update.
Payments matter
Delight guests, boost conversion rate, and have lower processing fees by offering alternative payment methods via Aven Hospitality Payments. Even better? We’ll continue to increase the number of payment methods and payment processors throughout 2026.
Improve guest experience and increase conversion with frictionless online redemption for Gift Cards during checkout in Custom Booking Engine, including partial redemptions and refunds. This integrates cleanly with the SynXis CRS, ensuring reservations reflect transactions appropriately while maintaining your existing guarantee and payment policies.
Retailing is the future
Accelerate revenue at scale with new chain-level mass updates for Aven Hospitality Retailing, making it easy to mass-assign components like taxes and policies. This allows hotels to update product groups, product attributes, policies, and default taxes at scale, saving configuration time and getting live faster.
Manage Gift Card promotions more smoothly across your properties with a major update to Gift Cards’ campaign module, designed to give you more control and flexibility. We’ve introduced campaign seasons so you can manage multiple seasons in a single campaign
Good things take time
The next evolution of Aven Hospitality Booking Engine is just around the corner. It’s built on a powerful direct bookings orchestration layer that centralizes and modernizes every touchpoint of the guest journey. It sits in-context, a seamless booking experience embedded directly within your hotel’s website – eliminating redirects, preserving your brand experience, and reducing friction that leads to abandonment. The in-context shopping experience is currently being tested with early adopters. Meanwhile, our dev teams are working on building a more intuitive Booking Engine Designer that will give you greater control and flexibility to optimize your booking flows.
We know integration between SynXis CRS and Opera Cloud PMS via OHIP is important for many of your businesses, and we have developers hard at work coding to their new specs. This is a sizable effort, and it remains a top initiative for us. We look forward to sharing more in the coming months.
